Skyward Family/Student Access

Skyward Family/Student Access is available to all parents and guardians of students enrolled in the Klein Independent School District.

Family/Student Access is a secure internet-based website allowing parents and guardians easy access in tracking their student's progress. This service allows viewing of student's attendance, assignments, grades, and schedule. If you are on the go, portable access is a great way to stay connected. Download the Skyward Mobile Access application for your Apple iOS or Android device through your app store.

Login Information
For assistance with your login name or password, contact the campus registrar or email [email protected]

Login names and passwords are automatically generated by the Skyward system at time of enrollment. Contact your campus registrar or email [email protected] to receive your Family Access account information. Your name, your student's name and campus will be required to locate your account.

Parents/Guardians no longer need to share user account information with their students. Students have their own Student Access account that uses their Klein Network login credentials. If help is needed with a Student Access password, the student should request a teacher or librarian submit a help ticket on their behalf.

Password and Email Address Options
Parents/Guardians have the ability to change their password and email address once logged into Family/Student Access via "My Account" located in the upper right corner of the screen. All other changes must be coordinated with the campus registrar. Klein ISD employees will have the ability to change their email address only. Students are unable to change their school assigned email address.

Mobile App Update for Iphone

Skyward Mobile Users,

A program change that will affect users of Skyward's School Management System (SMS) mobile app has been implemented.

If a user's password has expired, or they are flagged as having to change their password on the next login, they will receive the message below. This will primarily affect users who only use SMS via the Skyward Mobile Access app. Users who log into SMS on the desktop will be required to change their password at that time, as they always have. If a mobile user receives this message, they must log into SMS on the desktop to change their password in order to be able to access the mobile app. This update will allow us to continue to provide secure access to our mobile app.

Skyward Mobile Users,

A program change that will affect users of Skyward's School Management System (SMS) mobile app has been implemented.

After updating to the newest version of the Skyward Mobile Access app from the Google Play Store, you will be asked to re-enter your Skyward account password when signing into the app with your passcode. This requirement is due to improvements we have made for storing account passwords within the app.
