2023-24 Back-to-School Message

 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year, Klein Families! 

We hope that you’ve enjoyed your summer with family and friends, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back for the first day of school tomorrow, August 9! 

Here’s what you need to know as we launch a successful new year together in Klein ISD:

Safe and Disciplined Schools – Safety remains our priority in Klein ISD.

• Klein Police Department | Our excellent School Board approved the hiring of additional police officers as well as an increase in pay to recruit and retain talented officers. We’re proud to be the home of the first and finest school district police department in Texas, with dedicated officers clocking over 5,000 hours of training this summer to keep Klein safe.
• Student Code of Conduct | Every member of our Klein Family is dedicated to maintaining safe and disciplined schools. We will enforce the Klein ISD Student Code of Conduct. Parents, please make sure you reviewed the letter recently sent from your child’s principal outlining our behavior expectations for our students.  As always, thank you for your partnership in keeping our schools safe and disciplined.

 

2022 Bond Update – New Klein ISD Flex School opens this week as construction continues across Klein ISD.

• For the first time in history, we will be welcoming the Northampton Elementary Colts to our brand-new Klein ISD Flex School! This innovative new school (located between Krimmel Intermediate and Mueller Elementary) will continue being used in the future as our elementary schools that are over 50 years old undergo needed modernization and complete renovations.
• Improvements continue across the district as we take care of all of our schools to best serve our students, staff, and community. Follow us on social media for regular updates on our progress so far.
• Many thanks again to our Klein community for your support of the 2022 Bond election that makes all of this progress possible!

• We’re excited to have launched our new district and campus websites. To find more information as you gear up for the first day of school—including bus routes, lunch information, volunteer opportunities, and more—please go to “Find It Fast” to locate everything you need.

We're proud to kick off the new year with our thriving 'Triple A' tradition, excelling in Academics, Arts, and Athletics by achieving a new student scholarship record, clinching State athletic titles, and securing 12 years of consecutive national recognition for excellence in music education as a top-performing district in the arts.
